More than Twenty Muslim worshippers killed in Gondar by Amhara Fano

Twenty Muslim worshippers were killed in Amhara region by a ragtag militia called Fano. The incident happened yesterday in Gondar, Ethiopia when Muslims were on their way to bury one of their members. Reportedly, mosques were set ablaze, Holy Quran burnt and massive destruction of property was carried out by a FANO vigilantes blinded by bigotry remarks and Islamophobia.

Following this incident, ten of thousands of angry Muslims have taken to the streets of Addis Ababa, DireDawa and all major cities of the country in protest of the barbaric attacks on Muslims in the Amhara region. Muslims were chanting its unacceptable what had happened in Gondar. The perpetrators of these heinous crimes must be brought to book.
