Tens of thousands of people today held massive demonstrations throughout Tigray demanding the return of IDPs to their homes and the withdrawal of foreign forces from Western Tigray.

Western Tigray IDPs who are victims of the ethnic cleansing and genocide that has been conducted by Amhara, Ethiopian and Eritrean forces seek to return to their homes and condemn efforts by Amhara and Ethiopia to change the demographics of Western Tigray that has been annexed ever since.

The Tigray IDPs who have been forced out of their homes more than three years ago by the genocidal trios demand full implementation of the Pretoria Peace agreement, and seek justice and lasting peace.

Speaking to the thousands of IDPs rallying for swift repatriation, Tigray's interim President Getachew Reda, said that return of IDPs to Raya and Wolkait is set to commence within the next few days, with Western Tigray slated to follow suit shortly.
