IHH provides 4,500 tents for Tigray refugees in Sudan

Human Rights and Freedoms (IHH) Humanitarian Relief Foundation has provided approximately 4,500 tents for refugees fleeing conflicts in northern Ethiopia and taking refuge in Sudan.
According to the AA correspondent, the Foundation extended a helping hand to thousands of Tigrayans fleeing the unsafe environment in Tigray to Sudan.
The Foundation, which has been working in the field since the first day of the crisis, in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Sudan Commissioner for Refugees, has delivered shelter, food and hygiene aid to families who have left their homeland.
After 1117 tents were set up in Um Rakuba Camp in Kadarif province, food parcels, hygiene packages and blankets were distributed to 2 thousand 250 families.
In Tunaydbah Camp, 3,365 tents were set up, 50 water tanks of 250 liters were placed in certain areas of the camp, and food sacks that would meet the monthly needs of 900 people were distributed to refugee families.
The foundation continues to distribute aid and set up tents in the camps.
So far, more than 60 thousand Ethiopians have fled to Sudan, while hundreds of thousands have been displaced within Tigray province.
