Eritrean PoWs tell how they killed and gang-raped Tigrayans

Two Eritrean PoWs tell how they killed and gang-raped Tigrayans. One says "in Sheraro I killed about 7, in Adigrat about 8, in Adwa about 7 or 8, and in Rama about 9". "I raped 6 women in Sheraro, 5 in Adwa, 6 in Adigrat & 6 in Rama. I took matresses, jerrycans, chairs, metals, necklaces."

The second PoW says "the situation was very bad, we were killing anyone we found, child, women or old people." She asks him if he knows the total, to which he retorts "how can I know that, we were just killing."

The second PoW mentions one incident around Shire where he took part in the killing of 10 prisoners. He also adds that they attacked Hitsats camp Eritrean Refugee camp at night. Asked why they did that, he said "to scatter and kill them like we did to Tigrayans."
