Top players in the Horn, Gulf and North Africa attend Somalia president's inauguration

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's inauguration today was marked by heavy deployment of top players in the Horn, Gulf and North Africa. Egypt sent its PM as did Ethiopia. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is represented by its Foreign Minister.
Reiterating his key theme of "Somalia at peace with itself and at peace with its neighbours," President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in his inauguration speech said he will pursue a pragmatic and "moderate" policy based on mutual respect with Somalia's neighbours.
