ግፍዕታት ሰራዊት ኣብይን ኢሳያስን ኣብ ከተማ ውቅሮ ክልተ ኣውላዕሎ

ብተወሳኺ ንረድኤት ዝተፀወዑ ካብ ገጠር ጣብያታት ድንግላትን ኣዋልዖን ዝመፁ ክልተ መናእሰያት እውን ኣካል ግዳያት ኮይኖም እዮም። ብጋሪ ሬሳ ዘጓዓዕዙ ሰባት እውን ንምንታይ ሬሳ ናብ ቤተክርስትያን ትወሰዱ ብምባል ምስ ፈረሶም ናይዚ ግፍዒ ኣካል ኮይኖም እዮም። ናይ ሸውዓተ ሰባት ሬሳ ብዕሊ ኣብ ቤተክርስቲያን እንዳማርያምን ኣቡነ ኣረጋዊን ክቅበሩ እንተለው፣ እቶም ዝተረፉ 11 ሰባት ድማ ናይ ኣብይን ኢሳይያስን ሰራዊት ብኦራል ተፂዒኖም ናብ ዘይፍለጥ ቦታ ወሲዶምዎም እዮም። ብተወሳኺ እዉን ኣካያዲ ስራሕ ዉቕሮ ሆስፒታል ኣሲሮምዎ ይርከቡ።
እዚ ኹሉ ግፍዒ እንትስራሕ ኣረጋዊ ዝበሃል ዕሱብ ባንዳ ቅድም ክብል ኣብ ቢሮ ሲቪል ሰርቪስ ኪኢላ ዝነበረ ሕጂ ኣባል ብልጽግና ብምዃን ስልጣን ዋና ሓላፊ ቢሮ ጥዕና ከተማ ዉቕሮ እንትኾን ሪፈር ዘድልየን ነፍስታት ኣምቡላንስ ብምኽልካል ወገናትና ህይወት ክስእኑ ገይሩ ኣሎ፡፡ሎማዓንቲ እውን ህዝቢ ከተማ ውቅሮ ካብ ገዛ ዘይምውፃእ ቀፂሊሉ ኣሎ።

What happened in Wukro town of Tigray in the last two days?

On February 10, Ethiopian and Eritrean army members were going to residential houses of the town door to door right starting from noon. And then they were shooting as they saw anyone their way. They killed 18 people pointblank. 2 people were left wounded from the shots they received.
Among the dead, 15 were young, 3 were seniors and 1 was minor (15). Public disobedience and road blockades were the reasons for the killings the killers gave. The soldiers either just shot dead whoever they saw on the streets or went to the houses and brought the young to the doors of their houses or shot them in front of their parents.
Two young persons were killed after they came to collect relief aid from the nearby villages of Dengola and Awile’o. Two people became targets of the killers as they were collecting and transporting the victims’ bodies using a horse pulled cart. The horse was not spared either. Only 7 bodies were buried at Abune Aregawi church graveyard. The rest 11 were taken away by military vehicle to unknown place.

In the meantime, the civil disobedience and self-lock down is still in effect in Wukro town. In another note, the Wukro Hospital manager has been arrested. Reason not known.
