The Government of Tigray sends a strict warning to all foreign actors who, in collaboration with the fascist regime of Abiy Ahmed, are taking part in the genocidal campaign against the people of Tigray. It has been three and half years since the parasitic clique of Abiy Ahmed, which has been thoroughly manipulated by self-serving forces with insatiable appetite for expansionism, officially initiated a genocidal campaign against the people of Tigray-an ongoing campaign characterized by its unimaginable brutality.
Over the past three and half years, Abiy Ahmed's predatory clique, having caused the cumulative erosion of the country's sovereignty out of a reckless disregard for the national interest, has effectively handed over control of the country's core national security institutions to foreign actors. Of the numerous national institutions that, having been thoroughly stripped of their identity as a symbol of national sovereignty, have become a playground for nefarious foreign actors, the countty's defense, intelligence and security sectors can be cited as principal examples.
Accordingly, since the hired leaders, advisers, and foot soldiers, who, having accepted the destructive mission of the Ably Ahmed regime, are embedded in the country's defense, intelligence, and security institutions and roaming freely within them are directly or indirectly responsible for the genocide being perpetrated against the people of Tigray, they must be brought before the International Criminal Court (ICC) and held accountable for their horrific crimes.
The Government of Tigray, therefore, sends its strictest warning to all foreign actors, who have insinuated themselves in the country's defense, security, and intelligence institutions: rather than commit one appalling crime after another by continuing to participate in the year-long military invasion of Tigray and the ongoing genocide against the people of Tigray and consequently increase the severity of the punishment that would be inflicted on you, you can take a tiny step towards making amends for your depravities by refraining from committing, and facilitating the commission of further atrocities against the people of Tigray, and leaving the country immediately for good.
Finally, the Government of Tigray demands that all countries whose citizens are directly or indirectly involved in the Abiy regime's genocidal campaign against the people of Tigray prevail on their citizens to desist from their vicious, illegal, and morally repugnant actions and return home. In the absence of compliance with our request, we would like the international community and other relevant stakeholders to understand that the Government of Tigray and Tigray Army Forces are not liable for any harm that foreign citizens knee-deep in Abiy Ahmed's criminal enterprise suffer as we exercise our legitimate right of self-defense by taking proportional measures to ensure our people's safety and security.
